Yes, the CamBoard pico flexx is compliant with laser class 1 according to relevant applicable norms.

Can the CamBoard pico flexx be used outdoors?
In general: pmd´s Time-of-Flight technology is very robust against ambient light due to the patented SBI (Suppression of Background Illumination) and can also be used outdoors. The SBI is an in-pixel circuitry that subtracts ambient light. This prevents the pixels from saturating.
