Your ideas and work will have a direct impact on the current and next generations of products, e.g. in autonomous material handling as well as in precise position detection and quality monitoring of objects.

Your tasks:

As an experienced system engineer, you will develop complex concepts and systems for innovative photoelectric sensors. You will independently develop and evaluate conceptual solutions, coordinate them within the team and maintain the system specification in accordance with specifications, applicable standards and manufacturing requirements. You will cooperate proactively with experienced system engineers, software and hardware developers as well as internal and external customers and project partners across divisions and locations. You will follow all technical steps of development from the feasibility check, conception, implementation and verification of the overall system and the subsystems through to the handover to production. Staying up to date about state of the art/technology that relates to our products will accompany your operational tasks. An employment is possible at the location Siegen, Dresden, Tettnang or Ulm.

 

Your profile:

  • Completed scientific studies e.g. physics, electrical engineering or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience and/or doctorate
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge and competences in systems engineering of photoelectric sensors
  • Experience in functional safety is an advantage
  • Programming skills; basic knowledge in optics, electrical engineering, mechanics, signal processing
  • Familiar with the use of measuring devices and experimental measurement stations
  • Ability to communicate in a factual and focused manner, independent way of working, team player
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
